News: Archive series continues with Ian Anderson, Walter Trout, Beth Hart and others (March 2024)

Since 2014 Get Ready to ROCK! Radio has been using the Mixcloud platform so that listeners can replay shows and interviews.
Due to licensing restrictions, shows have to be edited where there are several tracks by the same artist. Unfortunately some of our older interviews have been removed due to this issue. We are now in the process of re-posting a selection of interviews in our GRTR!@20 series, reflecting twenty years of coverage at Get Ready to ROCK!
Among those artists to be featured initially, and interviewed in 2016/17, Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull, Paul Gilbert (Mr.Big), Beth Hart, Sari Schorr and Kiki Dee.
Programme Manager David Randall commented “The reposting will allow listeners to catch up with interviews that have disappeared from our review and feature pages. There will usually be at least three complete tracks, plus the complete interview.”
The first interviews to be reposted include Clark Datchler from Johnny Hates Jazz and Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull). Both are playing UK dates from April 2024.
The number of shows available via Mixcloud currently totals over 1300 and is added to on a weekly basis.
An archive sequence features each week in the station programming and includes some interviews/features that are not available on Mixcloud.
