Neal Schon
Neal features in our instrumental and melodic rock sequences.
Neal Schon came to the attention of Carlos Santana in the late-1960s when he jammed with San Francisco musicians at the age of 15. Giving up the possibility of joining Eric Calpton’s band he stayed with Santana until 1972. Shortly afterwards he formed Journey with Gregg Rolie, the Santana keyboard player. Journey went on to become one of the most commercially successful rock outfits.
Schon has made several solo albums and collaborated with others such as Jan Hammer, Paul Rodgers and Jeff Scott Soto.
