Get Ready to ROCK!’s annual “Best of” the year listing has been published at www.getreadytorock.com
The listing reflects the wide ranging choices of the review team and covers four categories, Top Albums, Live Acts, Reissues and Breakthrough
As previously, the selection does not have an overall category “winner” but specialist editors have selected their favourite across various genres.
With an introduction by Managing Editor David Randall, and month-by-month highlight summaries based on the website’s news pages, the feature suggests artists and albums worthy of further investigation. As David says: “This annual feature signposts significant albums and artists to help you in your own musical choices this year and beyond.”
A radio special on Sunday 21 December (22:00 GMT) will feature some of the selections (repeated Monday 22 and Friday 26, 22:00) , whilst a special show on Sunday 28 December will feature a Top 30 compiled from the weekly Top 10 album chart. The Top 10 countdown is included in the ‘Assume The Position’ show every Sunday, presented by David Randall
