Panic Room is one of the Ten for 10 artists selected by Get Ready to ROCK! for additional promotion in 2010.

PANIC ROOM

Panic Room quickly built a reputation as a powerful and subtle group of performers in the progressive/melodic genre, following the release of their debut album 'Visionary Position' in 2008.

The core of the band were original members of highly-touted prog rockers Karnataka but are quick to point out the main differences in the new configuration: a much harder edge and a spontaneous and improvisational quality that makes their live performances such compelling events.

Strong, melodic songwriting wedded to a desire to reinvent the music in the live arena saw them pick up the award for 'Best New Band' at the CRS Awards in January 2009, presented by ex-Genesis guitarist, Steve Hackett.

The band's second album 'Satellite' was released in 2010 to wide acclaim.

Without doubt, it's going to be exceedingly difficult to find a better album in 2010. Perfect progressive pop rock
