Promoted as 'Custom built by rock fans, for rock fans' High Voltage is now one of the premier festival events in the classic rock calendar.  The inaugral event was held in July 2010 and featured headliners Heaven & Hell, ZZ Top and Emerson, Lake & Palmer .

The festival features a Prog Stage and Metal Hammer Stage and, in 2011, a beer festival including a folk/bluegrass/acoustic stage.
