MIM GREY
Mim
Grey released her long-awaited and highly accomplished debut
album, ‘Grey Matters’, in April 2010. Previously Mim had a top
ten single with Mantronix and a club hit with Lee Cabrera as
well as co-writing a Kylie Minogue track, and her cover version
of 'What a Difference A Day Makes' spearheaded Thomas Cook‘s
Christmas ad campaign.
Encouraged by her late partner Paul Williams, with whom she also
collaborated, Mim ultimately began work on her debut album,
renewing her acquaintance with co-songwriter the American
lyricist Cori Josias.
Mim was
soon "discovered" at London’s 606 Club where she had been
singing on and off since her teens and before long she was
signed and whisked off to LA to work with producers such as
Derek Bramble and Rob Chiarelli as well as LA's finest session
musicians who all helped bring her debut album 'Grey Matters' to
life.
For her
second album, released in October 2012, Mim Grey recorded with
her regular band in the UK. 'Chasing Tigers' is a further
taste of her warm vocals and classic songwriting skills.
